Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G in Pakistan, arriving almost six months after its global debut. However, many are disappointed as it appears to be a rebranded version of the old Redmi Note 10 Pro, now sold at a higher price.
Good News: Regular Redmi Note 12 Price Drops
While the Pro version might not have impressed users, there’s a silver lining to its launch. The standard Redmi Note 12 has become more affordable.
Updated Price of Redmi Note 12
Previously, the regular Redmi Note 12 was priced between PKR 85,000 to 90,000. But now, its cost has been reduced to a starting price of PKR 59,999 (for 6 GB/128 GB) on the Mi Store. The 8 GB variant is slightly pricier at PKR 64,999.
Different Prices on Daraz
It’s worth noting that Daraz still has an older stock of Note 12 phones, which is why they are still priced at around PKR 90,000. However, some listings can be found for around PKR 65,000 or slightly more.
Features of Redmi Note 12
The Redmi Note 12 4G brings some improvements compared to its predecessors, rather than being a complete repeat. It runs on the Snapdragon 685 chipset and boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The back features a triple camera setup, headlined by a 50MP main sensor, and a 5000 mAh battery powers the device, with support for 33W fast charging.
Price of Redmi Note 12
Although these specifications aren’t entirely new, the lowered price tag of around PKR 60,000 now seems much more reasonable considering the features offered by the Redmi Note 12. The price in USD of Redmi Note 12 with 128 GB storage is $169.
