Adele Roberts In Dancing on Ice
Adele Roberts is super excited about being on Dancing on Ice. She and her partner, Mark Hanretty, are going to perform the song “Clearly” by Grace VanderWaal. Rehearsals have been tough, with Mark accidentally popping Adele’s ribs, and Adele breaking her wrist. Despite the challenges, they’re determined to skate on Sunday.
Adele joked about the injuries, saying, “Mark’s very strong and he’s managed to pop my ribs. And I’ve managed to stupidly break my wrist as well. So there’s been a big journey already.”
Mark admitted, “I have really myself to blame for the gash on my right thigh because we’ve choreographed a lift [in the routine] that caused a bit of damage.”
But Adele is positive and feels like a winner just for making it to the show. She said, “I feel like I’ve won a prize already just making it to the starting line of this show. It’s been a long journey to get here, and I’m just grateful for every moment that I get to spend on the ice and spend with this man.”
Adele has sought advice from Dame Kelly Holmes, who did the show before. Dame Kelly Holmes told her, “Yes, it’s hard work, but you’re going to enjoy it. You’re going to have the time of your life.”
