The launch event, expected to span approximately three hours, is one of the company’s longest so far. During this event, Xiaomi is also anticipated to unveil the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 13T Pro, recognized as either the Redmi K60 Ultra or the Redmi K60 Extreme Edition. Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Release Date

The upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is set to be officially unveiled in China on August 14, along with the Redmi K60 Ultra and Pad 6 series. This folding phone has been the subject of teasers, and now we’re getting our first official glimpse.

Xiaomi has shared marketing images for Mix Fold 3 as part of their teaser campaign. These images give us a clearer view of what was hinted at in earlier teasers.

Design of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3

The Mix Fold 3 retains the slim and recognizable design of the Mix Fold 2. It’s not certain if it will be thinner than the Honor Magic V2, which is currently the slimmest folding phone available. The phone also features a small hole on the inside for the front camera, meaning there’s no under-screen camera technology just yet.

Camera Features of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3

The Mix Fold 3 also keeps the rectangular camera setup that stretches across the phone. However, this time, it includes four separate camera lenses arranged in a square pattern in one corner. The well-known Leica branding is still prominently displayed. The main camera has a label indicating a VARIO SUMMICRON lens with an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/2.9.

There are rumors that the new folding phone will come with a completely redesigned hinge. If this is true, we might receive more confirmation during the teaser campaign.

Color Options of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3

Two color options will be available in Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 which is Black with a leather finish and Gold with a glass back panel. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that the Mix Fold 3 will be released outside of China, so interested buyers may need to import it.
